Jason VanWees is Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations for Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. Mr. VanWees oversees corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions transactions, and investor relationships.
Mr. VanWees joined Teledyne Technologies in 1999. Since 1999, Teledyne Technologies has acquired 38 businesses and grown in sales from $750 million to approximately $1.9 billion. The acquired companies have participated in a number of markets including digital imaging sensors and cameras, and instrumentation and electronic subsystems for energy, aerospace and defense, and environmental applications.
Before joining Teledyne, Mr. VanWees worked in the Investment Banking departments of Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Salomon Brothers Inc. At Goldman Sachs and Salomon Brothers, Mr. VanWees was involved in dozens of mergers, acquisitions and capital markets transactions for a broad range of corporate clients including industrial manufacturers, retailers and publishers.
Mr. VanWees holds a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in both Chemical Engineering and Biological Sciences from Stanford University.
