Teledyne Acquires Microwave Technical Solutions Assets from Avnet, Inc.
LOS ANGELES - October 31, 2005 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) announced today that Teledyne, through its subsidiary Teledyne Cougar, Inc., has acquired certain assets of the microwave technical solutions ("MTS") business of Avnet, Inc. Teledyne Enters Agreement to Acquire MGD Technologies Inc.
Lincoln, NE, - October 28, 2005 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: TDY) announced today that a subsidiary Teledyne Isco, Inc., has entered into an agreement to acquire MGD Technologies Inc. based in San Diego, California. The transaction is expected to close during November 2005, and is subject to customary closing conditions.

Teledyne Technologies Reports Third Quarter Results
Teledyne Technologies today reported third quarter 2005 sales of $295.3 million, compared with sales of $270.0 million for the same period of 2004. Net income for the third quarter of 2005 was $15.7 million ($0.45 per diluted share), compared with net income of $12.5 million ($0.37 per diluted share) in the third quarter of 2004.

Teledyne Technologies Wins $18.7 Million Air Force Contract
LOS ANGELES - September 21, 2005 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) announced today that Teledyne Electronic Safety Products has been awarded a contract by Goodrich Corporation's (NYSE:GR) Aircraft Interior Products division, in Phoenix, AZ.. The contract is to supply ejection seat Digital Recovery Sequencers (DRS) over the next five years based on yearly quantity releases from the U.S. Air Force in support of F-22, F-15, F-16, F-117, A-10, B-1B, and B-2 aircraft. This contract is the culmination of a highly successful 18-month development program between the U.S. Air Force, Goodrich, and Teledyne.

Teledyne Acquires RD Instruments, Inc.
LOS ANGELES - August 29, 2005 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) announced today that its subsidiary, Teledyne Investment, Inc., has completed the acquisition of RD Instruments, Inc., for approximately $37.0 million. RD Instruments (RDI) designs and manufactures state-of-the-art acoustic Doppler instrumentation. Located in San Diego,Calif., the business will operate as Teledyne RD Instruments, Inc.

Teledyne Technologies Reports Second Quarter Results
Teledyne Technologies today reported second quarter 2005 sales of $303.3 million, compared with sales of $238.9 million for the same period of 2004. Net income for the second quarter of 2005 was $16.1 million ($0.47 per diluted share), compared with net income of $9.9 million ($0.30 per diluted share) in the second quarter of 2004.

Japan Airlines Selects Teledyne Controls' integrated Data Management Unit (iDMU) for Boeing 767-200/300 Aircraft Fleet
LOS ANGELES, CA - February 28, 2005 - Teledyne Controls, a business unit of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: TDY), announced today that Japan Airlines (JAL) has selected Teledyne Controls' integrated Data Management Unit (iDMU) for retrofit installation on its B767-200/300 fleet of 16 Aircraft. Teledyne's iDMU will replace the legacy DMU (Data Management Unit) currently in service, providing enhanced ACMS (Aircraft Condition Monitoring System) and recording capabilities.
